"...They are  presentation of the realisation I have come to with in years of the unhealthiness of this portrayal of beauty. Within this exhibition I want to share my own shame, traumas and unhealthy expectations that I’ve had about my body my entire life. I am using exaggerated pictures to rip the works off their symbolism, making them uncomfortable to look at.The idea of using exaggeration as one of the main motives of the exhibition was inspired by my interest in drag culture. Drag is a form of satire focused on ridiculing significance of gender roles, and beauty standards in the society by dressing up a sex aggerated versions of one gender."

"...I wanted to be the voice for animals and I was mostly inspired by what is happening around me – cranes who were kicked out of their hotbed because of a road that is being built, fur farm in a neighbouring village. I also feel that most of us don’t realize that the couple of zlotys more spent on eggs are worth it as cage poultry rearing is almost an animal abuse. Moreover, there are brands claiming not to test on animals unless the law requires it, which predominantly would be Chinese law – then are those brands really cruelty free if they test, but on the other side of the world? I want to shed light on those matters that are often overlooked as we rush through our lives."

No matter whether we take a walk around the city or an intellectual journey inside the secrets of social sciences, we begin to notice a common pattern. There is always some distance, some isolation, some alienation. These are interesting words that one can play with; words that have many meanings and sink into our perception of the society. In this exhibition, I would like to explore their vast significance. My intention is to provoke my audience with the question whether we can regard them as negative or beneficial, building or destructive."

"The title of my exhibition is The Complexity of Loneliness. It arose from my inner struggles, when changing in between high schools, trying to find myself in a new community, as well as fighting chronic loneliness at the same time. All my works refer to the complex structure of loneliness and the fact that it can be found in the least probable situations."

"...I wanted to show that while we should keep working toward loving our body, it's equally important not to be disloyal to those who look different than we do. I would like the people who will see my exhibition to think about their own as well as other behavior. I have tried to explore the theme of beauty-shaming by looking at self-criticism, in works inspired by Karin van Berne (‘No face, but there is a story to fill in by yourself’) and Nazar Bilyk (‘Rain’); by looking at some of the impact technology and cosmetic industry is having on us, especially women; and finally, by exploring the theme of bullying by excessive criticism that inspired me thanks to Billie Eilish’s speech."
